Where are the members of our herd?
To keep track of the rare Giant eland and better understand their way of life and what affects their numbers, we need to monitor where and how they move. For the elands living in Cameroon, we've designed a special edition of tail-mounted GPS trackers to help us uncover the secrets of their activity.
These small devices are already being tested on their distant relatives – common eland – in Lány (Czech Republic). If you support us by purchasing a donation certificate, we'll be able to deepen our testing and move into the field, to the Giant elands in Senegalese reserves. And then straight into the wild in Cameroon.
The entire value of the certificate goes to the Antelope Conservation public collection (the contribution is 100% of the certificate price). Therefore, we sell the certificates without VAT.
